MESSAGE #3 - BETTER TO GO ALL OUT

IT'S MUCH BETTER TO GO ALL OUT
AND LOSE
THAN TO HOLD BACK AND WIN!

"Winning's not the only thing, it's everything."

Right?

No it's wrong. Dead wrong!!!

Suppose you're a tennis player. I can tell you how to win every match you ever play for the rest of your life. Interested?

Here's what to do -- never ever play anyone who can beat you.

Play beginners. Play young kids. Even better yet . . . play young kids who are beginners!

You'll win every single time.

If winning is the only thing -- go for it! After you win a few hundred matches, you'll get bored. You'll get bored with winning! Winning is not the only thing.

There's no juice, no excitement in beating unqualified opponents.
THERE'S NO CHALLENGE. Winning is not the only thing.

Let's look at some athletes who really go for it . . .
If you were a totally-into-it surfer, would you rather surf the Jersey shore or Hawaii? Hawaii, of course.

If you were a totally-into-it mountain climber, would you want to scale the Blue Hills in Boston or the Himalayas? If you're totally-into-it, don't waste your time going to Boston.

No risk -- no reward.

The real challenge is internal not external.
The real challenge is not winning or losing.

It's whether you're going to go all out or hold back.
Surfing is the most fun when you're going all out.
Mountain climbing is the most fun when you're going all out.
Life is the most fun when you're going all out.

Sometimes winning is easy. Going all out each and every day is not easy. It's the ultimate challenge. It's what true professionals do every day of their lives. I like this definition: Professionals re people who do their best when they feel like it least. In other words, professional are people who go-all-out whether they feel like it or not.

Going all out and failing is better than holding back and winning because
EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU GO-ALL-OUT (WHETHER YOU WIN OR LOSE) YOU'RE TRAINING YOURSELF
TO GO-ALL-OUT.
Tomorrow you're going to learn how one of the greatest athletes of all time goes all out all the time. You'll learn his mental strategy. As soon as you do what he does . . . you'll start getting AMAZING results in whatever you do.

Absolutely . . . positively . . . guaranteed!!!
