MESSAGE #26 - ONE LITTLE POEM

There are only three types of people:

#1. Those who are in the parade.
#2. Those who are watching the parade.
#3. Those who are wondering, “What parade?”

Which one are you???

Are you a spectator or a participant?
Are you a thermometer or a thermostat?
“Thermometers” read the temperature. “Thermometers” react.
“Thermostats” set the temperature. “Thermostats” act!

The great Paul Hartunian once told me this anecdote . . .

D.W. Griffith, the legendary film director, once received a letter from a fan requesting an autograph. Griffith responded: “Stop collecting autographs and start doing something that will make your autograph worth collecting.

In the end, there are only two types of people:

#1. Those who do.
#2. Those who don’t.

The difference? Those who do — DO and those who don’t — DON’T!

So what does “ONE LITTLE POEM” have to do with anything???

“IT’S BETTER TO WRITE ONE LITTLE POEM THAN TO MEMORIZE ALL OF SHAKESPEARE!”

I’ll have a new message for you on Success Hotline today.

Give me call at (973) 743-4690 . . .
