One sales clerk
in a candy store
always had
customers lined up
waiting for her
while the other sales clerks
would have
very few people
in their lines.
The owner of the store
noticed this and asked
her what
her secret was.
“It’s simple,” she said.
“The others scoop up
more than a pound
and then start
taking candy away.
I always scoop up
less than a pound
and then start
adding candy to it.”
